String The String property type (Figure 461) is a short text field that is broken into words for search. It is sorted as a string therefore, in an Advanced Search, if this field contains “Joe Smith,” searching on “Joe” will find Joe Smith, as will searching on just “Smith.” Figure 461
Text The Text property type (Figure 462) is just like the String property type, but provides a bigger editing field. The words of a Text field can be used in collection filters search will match on words within the text, not just on the whole field. A Text field can be used in indexes, for sorting, and in collection filtering. Figure 462
