The Workbench The Workbench (Figure 541) sits on the right-hand side of your Layout Editor. Warning: The Workbench should NOT be used to move Master Blocks between designs. If you want to do that, disaggregate the Master Block before switching designs, then add it to the new design by dragging it to the Palette. (See the Editing Existing and Creating New Master Blocks for information on how to disaggregate the Master Block). Figure 541 The Workbench is a handy parking spot you can use to temporarily hold blocks you're working on, making it easier to shuffle them within and between layouts. The same blocks stay in the Workbench as you move between layouts and designs. !
