Creating Downloadable PDFs for Document Excerpts In addition to page-at-a-time web viewing, the Tizra Publisher system allows you to provide Users with a PDF download of any section (or all) of a Document. You must create Excerpts for a Document before you can have downloadable Excerpt PDFs. (See the Splitting a Document Into Excerpts section for more information on how to create Excerpts). 1. From the Tizra Control Panel, go to CONTENT Documents (Figure 113). Figure 113 2. Select the Document you wish to create downloadable PDF Excerpt(s) for. 3. If you want all Excerpts associated with a Document to be downloadable, on the Document Properties screen, select the Generate Downloadable PDF for all Excerpts field (Figure 114). This field is useful because you can turn on the downloadable feature at the Document level instead of having to turn it on for each Excerpt. Figure 114 OR If you want only some (but not other) Excerpts associated with a Document to be downloadable, go the Excerpt Properties screen for any Excerpt that you want a downloadable PDF for, and select Yes in the Generate Downloadable PDF field (Figure 115).
