Staging URL (for Excerpts) The Excerpt’s Staging URL (Figure 80) allows you to view the Excerpt on a private Staging web site that is NOT visible to your end users. This is useful if you want to preview the Excerpt, or any changes you have made to it, before making it public on your Live site. Therefore, when you click on the Staging URL link, you will proceed to the first page of the Excerpt in the Online Content Reader (unless you have the Display Table of Contents (for Excerpts) field set to “yes,” in which case you will proceed to the Excerpt’s Table of Contents page). As with the Live URL, keep in mind that as an Administrative User, you will be able to see the full text of the Excerpt, with no restrictions on access.
