Allow Crawler Access The Allow Crawler Access field (Figure 41) on the Document Properties screen is only visible if you have turned off search engine access for all Documents on your Tizra Publisher site (by selecting the Control search access at the document level setting in the Search Engine Access field on the SETTINGS Access Control screen). The Allow Crawler Access field allows you to control search engine access at the Document level. Select Yes to allow search engines to “crawl” through the terms of this particular Document when end users enter those terms into a search engine. Leave the default selection of No if you do not want to allow search engines to access the terms contained within this particular Document. Note: When the Allow Crawler Access field is set to Yes, ACCESS CONTROL still determines what any end user can see when they click on a search result link. In other words, when an end user enters terms into a search engine and a link to one of the Document’s pages displays in the search results, if the page is part of a FREE section of the Document, the end user will proceed to that page in the Online Content Reader. If that Document page has an Offer associated with it, then the end user will hit a Paywall Page. Figure 41 Related (1 link) Search Engine Access !
