Clicking the Save Button Next to a Design that is NOT Applied to Staging Note: This is not a useful scenario for managing your designs. We’ve included it here only to help your understanding of how the Save button works. When you click the Save button next to a design that is NOT applied to Staging, the design you just clicked the Save button next to will now be applied to Staging, but with the design parameters of the design that was originally in Staging. The design that you clicked the Save button next to will be renamed with a timestamp reflecting the time at which the save occurred and retained as a backup. This time-stamped backup design will contain all the design parameters of the design you clicked the Save button next to. For example: Assume you have a design called “Our Design” with black text that is NOT applied to your Staging site and a design called “Our RED TEXT Design” that is applied to your Staging site (Figure 512). Figure 512 Assume that you click the Save button next to “Our Design,” (the design NOT applied to Staging) (Figure 513). Figure 513 The design parameters of the design currently applied to Staging “Our RED TEXT Design” will overwrite the “Our Design” (the one you clicked the Save button next to) AND “Our Design” will now be applied to your Staging site. The time-stamped backup -- “Our Design (backup: date time-stamp)” -- will contain the original black text from “Our Design” (Figure 514). Figure 514 !
