Using List Filtering The Filter List Display can be accessed wherever you see the Create List Filter link above lists of Documents, Excerpts, Collections, Static Pages, Offers and Excerpt Offers. The Create List Filter link becomes useful at the point your Tizra Publisher has hundreds of Documents or other types of content, as the more you have, the more difficult it is to check the boxes next to all the Documents you may want to update. Essentially: List Filtering is a way to limit the contents of a view. List Filtering also works well when using the Super Tagger. In the Tizra Publisher program, if you are presented with a list of Collections, Documents, Excerpts, Images, Offers, Static Pages or Virtual Collections that allow you to select them via a check box, you will see the Create List Filter link. To use List Filtering: 1. From the Content List, click on the Create List Filter link (Figure 435). Note: In the leftmost corner of any list is a dropdown menu that will show all objects in “Content Management” (made up of all objects that have been Saved, are Live or in are in Staging). The other two items on the dropdown menu let you limit the list to items that have been published to Live or Staging. Figure 435 2. Click inside the Filter List field that appears (Figure 436). Figure 436 3. On the Filter List Display screen, select the Content Type (Figure 437) from the dropdown list. Note: The Content Type will default to the type of Content you are currently filtering on. For example, if you are filtering on a list of Documents, the Content Type field will default to “Document.” Other options are: Any Type, Book, Collection, Document, Excerpt, Image, Offer, Page and Virtual Collection.
