Attachment and Free Attachment Fields Once an Attachment or Free Attachment is uploaded via the Add Resource Dialog Box, the field names associated with the Attachment/Free Attachment will display. Links to definitions for each field are listed below. Note: The field names that display are always the same whether it’s an Attachment or a Free Attachment, but can differ based on whether you’ve uploaded a file versus a URL. The Add Resource Dialog Box (for the Document Content, Free Attachments & Attachments fields) Figure 56 + To Add a File (to the Document Content, Attachments or Free Attachments fields): Browse to the file you wish to upload and select. + To Add a URL (to the Attachments or Free Attachments only): Enter a URL if you want to include a link to a website link in the Attachments section of the sidebar menu in the online content reader. The URL will show up in the sidebar menu, just like any other attachment(s), but when your end users click on the URL, instead of opening an attachment file, they will proceed to whatever location you've linked to. This is useful for tying in all kinds of resources, whether or not those resources are hosted on Tizra. Expand Zip Files in uploads (for Attachments and Free Attachments only): Select this option if you want the Tizra Publisher system to automatically expand a zip file that you select for upload. After you add the file, URL or zip file, click the Upload button. You will return to the Document Properties, Excerpt Properties or Static Page Properties screen, where all the fields associated with the file or URL will display.
