Property Sort Value The Sort Value (Figure 476) of a property is used to order metadata field names as they are displayed on the applicable Properties screen AND on your web site (if these fields are made visible). If you leave this field blank, your metadata fields will display in alphabetical order (sorted on the Property Display Name value). Entering a value in this field might be useful if you need data entry on a Properties screen to be made in a specific order. For example: You may be adding the New Properties “ISBN” and “Copyright” and for ease of data entry on the Document Properties screen, you want the ISBN field first and Copyright second. In the Sort Value field for ISBN, you would enter the number “1” and in the Sort Value field for Copyright, you would enter the number “2.” Figure 476
