New Property (for Institutional Accounts) Figure 314 The New Property link (Figure 314) takes you to The Add New Property Screen, where you can add new metadata fields for the Institution and set the parameters for the new metadata field. For example: You may create a metadata field called “Contact Person” for the Institutional User Account that has a property type “string.” When you add a New Property to an Institutional User Account, the field will be created for ALL Institutional AND Individual Users, but will be left blank until you enter the data. On The Add New Property Screen, you can select the Property Type of the New Property, such as text, date, keyword, number, etc. You can also enter the New Property’s Display Name and determine in what order the New Property will display (if you are adding more than one). The User Editable field, which typically determines whether the New Property will display when a User registers or updates their account information on your web site, does not apply to Institutional Accounts.
