Creating Logical Page Numbers in the PDF Important Note: You must have unique logical page numbers for every page in your PDF. For example, if you have Roman Numerals i-v in your front matter and letters A-G in your Index, then you could create different sets of logical page numbers, because those values are unique to each page. But, you CANNOT have Roman Numerals i-v in both your front matter and in your Index. 1. In Adobe Acrobat, go to Thumbnail view (Figure 26). Figure 26 2.
