resume, they will also be recorded and added to the library, Alan said. This way members who can’t or don’t want to attend can still benefit and get credits at their convenience. The seamless, serendipitous creation of on-demand CLE not only created more professional accreditation opportunities for members. It greatly enhanced the value of sponsorships. “CLE and the sponsorships are the lifeblood of the organization,” Alan said. Making them more appealing was important and the impetus for another new feature. “I wanted the ability for someone to easily go to a single source site. When they wanted a court reporter, they could say, ‘Well, who are the court reporters that have contributed to TBTLA so that I can reward them?’ That was one big feature of the website that I wanted so that our members would know who supports us.” Using the same Tizra tools, Laura made a page within the library and populated it with clickable sponsor cards. She also turned upcoming events into featured content on the homepage. The combination served as a convenient resource for lawyers, targeted marketing for sponsors, and an advertisement for TBTLA membership. Alan tasked Executive Director, Laura Wright with the website overhaul, including finding an alternative to the existing database. Laura was working with Novi AMS on upgrading the association’s management software when she mentioned her need for a modern, user-friendly document library. Novi suggested that she contact Tizra. “Tizra’s ease of use, integration with our AMS, and affordability got my attention,” Laura said, “Top-notch customer service sealed the deal”. For years, TBTLA had relied on the executive director to wrangle and curate a wide range of documents. Tizra’s easy-to-use adminis- trative panel was a time saver and a breath of fresh air. It gave Laura the power and tools she needed to quickly upload, organize, and promote the association’s valuable content. It transformed TBTLA’s existing content into a fast, flexible digital library that users can search and browse independently—and in the process discover new information that had been buried under old technology. It also allowed members to contribute their own content, adding value to the library while still keeping it secure. Around this time, the global pandemic hit. In-person CLE gatherings with cocktails and appetizers became a thing of the past… at least temporarily. Like much of the world, TBTLA turned to Zoom to stream, and for the first time record, its CLE events. Alan and Laura were happy to learn that this content could just as easily be archived and accessed in the digital library. When in-person events The Solution THE RESULT “Tizra’s ease of use, integration with our AMS, and affordability got my attention,” said TBTLA Executive Director Laura Wright, “Top-notch customer service sealed the deal”.
