Branding
Specs for design assets are below. There are Quick Tip videos to help you add branding to a new Evergreen site, or to one of the earlier QuickStart sites.
Logo Guidelines
Landscape layout (wider than high) generally works best. An aspect ratio of 2:1 or higher is a good rule of thumb.
120-300 pixels high (logo will be fit into a 60px high box but resolution should be at least 2x that for retina screens)
PNG format generally preferred (though JPEG or GIF can work too)
Designed to work against a white background.
Banner/Jumbotron Image
At least 1920 pixels wide
At least 4:1 aspect ratio
JPEG format
Preparing PDFs for Upload
Detailed information is in our PDF Prep Guide, but here are some basics...
Files should not be encrypted or locked.
Files should be sized appropriately for online viewing. (Print-oriented files sometimes have very high resolution graphics or complex elements that needlessly slow down publication and reading. Here are some simple optimization routines that may help.).
Any headings that you wish to have appear in the online table of contents should be bookmarked. Our guide has help on this.
Text required for full-text search should included in the PDF (not usually an issue unless files were scanned from print).
Any fonts required for proper display should be embedded.
Other Key Setup Tasks
Setting Up The Web Address for your Tizra Site
Adding a Contact email address
Depending on how it’s set up, your Tizra site will need to be able to send different kinds of emails, such as “forgot password” links and purchase confirmations. To avoid being mistaken for SPAM, it’s important that these emails come from a valid email within your organization’s domain, (e.g., support@your-organization.org). It’s also necessary that this email address be monitored by someone within your organization. How to add a support address:
In the Admin Panel, go to SETTINGS > Contact and Email Information Page
Enter the email address in the Contact Email Address field and click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
Notify Tizra of the address you’d like to use. Tizra will then send a confirmation email to the address with a link to confirm that it is valid. The email should be from no-reply-aws@amazon.com. PLEASE NOTE: Validation links typically expire within 24 hours, so it is important that you click promptly. This example validation email may help you to find it in your inbox.
Setting Up Google Analytics
Google Analytics (https://analytics.google.com) is a great free tool for generating reports on where your traffic is coming from, which content is most popular, etc. To connect your Tizra site with Google Analytics…
In Google Analytics, copy the Measurement ID (formerly called the Tracking ID) from the desired Property within your account.
In the Tizra Admin, go to REPORTING > Google Analytics Reporting
Click + Add new tracking account and paste the Measurement ID into the first field, then enter whatever description may be helpful in the second.
Click "Save"
Need help setting up Google Analytics?
If you don't yet have a Google Analytics property set up, this documentation from Google is a good place to start. When you reach the section titled "Add a data stream," select the "Web" option (rather than "iOS app or Android app"). You'll want to enable "enhanced web measurement" with the default options. When the Data Stream is created, you'll see a Measurement ID, which is what you'll paste into the Tizra Admin as described above.
Note: These instructions are updated to work with Google Analytics 4. Google will not support earlier versions after July 1, 2023.
Setting Up PayPal
Note: you must Have a PayPal Business (or Premier?) Account (not a personal account)

Cover Images
A cover, preview or thumbnail image is automatically created for you when you upload a PDF into the Document content area, or when you reference a video hosted on Vimeo or similar third-party hosting services. If you want to control the visuals on your site, you can create custom images and upload your own cover images.
This guide will help your optimize the visuals on your site. Pro tip: your image JPG files should be under 200 KB, a web export with a quality of 60 should render a crisp image that loads quickly. Click here to see image samples
1. HEADLINE (1542 X 1027 pixels) Our largest image type is great for highlighting on-demand content that changes often; Journal Issues, Upcoming Events, Webinars, New Releases… anything fresh and exciting lives beautifully in this space.
2. LANDSCAPE (1024 X 768 pixels) This horizontal format is the most popular image type and looks great in a series. Perfectly proportioned for your Video covers, Slide Decks, and Webinars, this wide layout is a great shape for most content visuals.
3. PORTRAIT (1024 X 1329 pixels) A vertical shape is ideal for upcycling cover designs and posters… this is a nice place for your tall and slim visuals.
4. SQUARE (1024 X 1024 pixels) Modern and clean, this format is a great way to upgrade your content and give your site a quick refresh.
5. ALL PURPOSE (1542 X 1329 pixels) When your content is presented in multiple places with more than one size an all purpose imge is an ideal solution, key information should be centered inside a “live area” of 1024 X 768 pixels.
