+New Property (for Individual Users) Figure 301 The New Property link (Figure 301) takes you to the Add New User Property dialog box, where you can add new metadata fields for the Individual User and set the parameters for the new metadata field. For example: You may create a metadata field called “Phone Number” for the User that has a property type “string.” When you add a New Property to an Individual User, the field will be created for ALL Individual AND Institutional User Accounts, but will be left blank until you enter the data. On The Add New Property Screen dialog box, you can select the Property Type of the New Property, such as text, date, keyword, number, etc. You can also enter the New Property’s Display Name and determine in what order the New Property will display (if you are adding more than one). Lastly, you can also make the New Property User Editable, which determines whether the New Property will display when the User registers on your web site or updates their Individual User information. If the New Property is not User Editable, the field will only be visible/editable in your Tizra Publisher system.
