What to do with PDF Hyperlinks Before Tizra Upload
If you have hyperlinks in your source material that carried over once converted to PDF,
or if you are creating hyperlinks within your PDF, Tizra’s online content reader can
support hyperlinks that open a web page, open another page within the same PDF, and
also that open a file (such as a PowerPoint presentation, video, other PDF, Word
To make sure that the PDF Hyperlinks work properly in Tizra’s online content reader,
follow the steps below:
1. If you have hyperlinks in your source material that carried over once
converted to PDF, proceed to step 3.
If you are creating hyperlinks in the PDF: Create just a few hyperlinks
within the PDF to start, upload the PDF into a Tizra Document, publish to
Staging and then test to make sure the hyperlinks are displaying properly.

Links in a PDF.
2. If your test of the few hyperlinks works, then create all of your hyperlinks
within the PDF.
3. While still in Adobe Acrobat, click each link within your PDF to confirm that
they open the intended page/file.
4. When you know that all the links work within Adobe Acrobat, upload the PDF
to a Tizra Document, publish to Staging and click on each hyperlink to confirm
that it opens the intended page/file.
