Creating New Bookmarks in a PDF
1. In Adobe Acrobat, navigate to the first page of the section you want to bookmark.
2. Using the Selection tool , highlight the text you want to bookmark.
For example: you might highlight the word “Preface.”
3. Press Ctrl + B (Cmd + B for Macs) to create the Bookmark.
You will be able to see the newly created Bookmark in the Bookmarks sidebar on
the left-hand side of the Adobe Acrobat screen.
4. IMPORTANT: Test the newly created Bookmarks by clicking on the “ribbon” part
of each Bookmark (Figure 8) and confirm that you land on the intended page.
